Our Murphy beds utilize a concealed piston mechanism with locking safety features, ensuring both stability and safety during use. The piston system operates quietly and smoothly, making bed transitions seamless. These beds are seamlessly integrated into your wall, cleverly concealing your mattress until needed.

Our products are crafted from high-quality laminated MDF boards, featuring a sleek high-gloss white finish or wood grain grey finish that mimics the look and texture of real wood. We primarily use a combination of commercial-grade melamine and durable veneer, providing excellent resistance to scratches, stains, and everyday wear.

The Minimal Lift Beds warranty is valid for 5 years if the bed is installed correctly. The warranty ensures coverage against any defects arising from faulty materials or craftsmanship that may impede the intended use of the product. This warranty encompasses the replacement of defective components at no cost, contingent upon their availability. Any labour costs incurred and paid by the customer are not encompassed by this warranty. Shipping is not included. Please note that this warranty is applicable under normal usage conditions and does not extend to defects resulting from buyer negligence, reinstalling the bed else where, misuse, improper exposure, excessive wear and tear, or any alterations made to the furniture item. Minimal Lift Beds reserves the right to request proof of purchase or other relevant information in order to facilitate warranty claims. It is important to mention that this warranty is non-transferable and is valid exclusively within Canada. We offer a variety of mattress options that are compatible with our wall beds. Our beds come in different sizes, including Twin, Double, Queen, and King, and they can accommodate mattresses with a thickness ranging from 6 to 12 inches. Please note that the mattress itself is not included with the purchase of our wall beds. Mattress Weight Capacity Range: - King: 37-40 kg (81-88 lbs) - Queen: 30-32 kg (66-70 lbs) - Double/Full: 28-30 kg (62-66 lbs) - Twin: 20-22 kg (44-48 lbs)

We can schedule a team of two skilled local handymen to assemble your bed. They are trained to locate wall studs, assess wall structures, and remove baseboards, ensuring the safe use of your bed. For non-standard walls, a certified construction professional is necessary. Our handymen are independent contractors, charging $300 CAD for Horizontal/Vertical beds and $380 CAD for desk Murphy beds. Payment is due directly to them upon completion via cash or e-transfer. Installations typically take 3-4 hours. Alternatively, you can check the Better Business Bureau, Grasshopper, or 604Handyman for other options.

To ensure the Murphy bed sits flush against the wall, the baseboards in the installation area must be removed. Otherwise, the bed will be a tipping hazard and collect dust between the back panels and the wall.

Each bed comes with a total of 4 boxes. Box 1: Bed Frame (A fully welded bed frame, matching the exact length and width of your mattress.) Box 2: Back Panels Box 3: Door Panels Box 4: Top, Below & Side Cabinets Sizes vary with your Murphy bed order. Packages are large and heavy. Each package can weigh anywhere from 30-150 lbs and require at least 2 people to carry safely.

Your space is suitable for a Murphy bed if the floors are level, wall studs (16-24 inches apart) are present, the structure can support the bed's weight, there are no outlets or heaters in the installation area, and you're ready to remove the baseboards.
