The Minimal Lift Beds warranty covers defects for up to 5 years! We send replacement parts (excluding labour & shipping costs.) It’s non-transferable, valid in Canada, and requires proof of purchase for claims and no alterations to the bed.

Our Murphy beds utilize a concealed piston mechanism with locking safety features, ensuring both stability and safety during use. The piston system operates quietly and smoothly, making bed transitions seamless. These beds are seamlessly integrated into your wall, cleverly concealing your mattress until needed.

Our products are crafted from high-quality laminated MDF boards, featuring a sleek high-gloss white finish or wood grain grey finish that mimics the look and texture of real wood. We primarily use a combination of commercial-grade melamine and durable veneer, providing excellent resistance to scratches, stains, and everyday wear.

The Minimal Lift Beds warranty is valid for 5 years if the bed is installed correctly. The warranty ensures coverage against any defects arising from faulty materials or craftsmanship that may impede the intended use of the product. This warranty encompasses the repair or replacement of defective components at no cost, contingent upon their availability. Any labour costs incurred and paid by the customer are not encompassed by this warranty. Please note that this warranty is applicable under normal usage conditions and does not extend to defects resulting from buyer negligence, reinstalling the bed else where, misuse, improper exposure, excessive wear and tear, or any alterations made to the furniture item. Minimal Lift Beds reserves the right to request proof of purchase or other relevant information in order to facilitate warranty claims. It is important to mention that this warranty is non-transferable and is valid exclusively within Canada. We offer a variety of mattress options that are compatible with our wall beds. Our beds come in different sizes, including Twin, Double, Queen, and King, and they can accommodate mattresses with a thickness ranging from 6 to 12 inches. Please note that the mattress itself is not included with the purchase of our wall beds. Mattress Weight: - King: 37-40 kg (81-88 lbs) - Queen: 30-32 kg (66-70 lbs) - Double/Full: 28-30 kg (62-66 lbs) - Twin: 20-22 kg (44-48 lbs)

We can connect you with a local handyman who possesses the essential skills and tools required for locating wall studs, determining the wall structure (wood, metal, masonry), and correctly installing screws into the wall structure. These skills and tools encompass the use of an electronic stud finder, drill motor, bits, screwdriver, and the proficiency to employ these tools effectively. For all other wall types, it is necessary to enlist the services of a certified construction professional to ensure proper installation of the bed, complying with relevant regulations in your province, state, or country. Our handymen operate independently of our organization, and payment for their services, at a pre-negotiated rate of $300 CAD, is required directly to them upon the successful completion of the bed installation, either in cash or through e-transfer. The installation process can take around 3-4 hours to complete. To find a qualified professional, you can consult your local Better Business Bureau or building inspector, who can provide you with a list of local contractors proficient in wall construction and cabinetry installation. Alternatively, conducting a search on platforms such as Grasshopper or 604Handyman.

The Murphy bed must sit flush against the wall it is secured to. For this reason, we recommend removing the baseboards.

If your floors are level, you have the necessary wall studs (typically spaced 16-24 inches apart depending on building code), no electrical outlets in the area where the Murphy bed will be installed, and you're prepared to remove the baseboards, your space is suitable for a Murphy bed.
